Our sandcast metalware pieces are hand-crafted by skilled artisans in Mexico City using the same ageless process that has been practiced by their families for generations. To begin, sand is packed around the model to create an impression. Molten metal is then poured into the impression and when the metal cools, the sand is broken. The magic happens when each piece is polished to perfection. This meticulous process ensures that each piece is an original and has its own unique, rich character.
A mixture of 100% recycled metal alloys are used to create our metalware which is ideal for food service, will never tarnish, retains hot and cold temperatures and is safe in the oven up to 400 degrees.
